First Lutheran Church's annual stewardship theme this year is “What Truly Matters?” which is based on Matthew 6:21 which states, “For where your treasure is
Please leave donations at church in the gathering space.
All bedding collected should be appropriate for children ages 3-17. The bedding needs to be brand new and fit a twin size mattress. The types of bedding that can be collected include:
Bed-in-abag
Comforters
Sheet sets
Pillows - standard size
Quilted blankets
Tie blankets
Don’t be afraid of bright bold colors or designs. Think like a kid!
Plain sheets are awesome since they go well with boldly colored
comforters, tie blankets and quilts.
Handmade blankets and quilts must measure 60” x 80” (any type of
fringe is not included in the dimensions). Anything smaller than that
will not keep a child warm once they get under the covers.
We cannot accept any bedding that is holiday themed.
Quilts cannot be hand-tied. Machine bound is preferred.
Pillows need to be standard size, not decorative toss pillows.
