2020-2021 GNH Returns to in person.

We will be operating GNH on an Indoor/Outdoor rotational schedule with an all-group lesson. That being said, this week will be an indoor lesson, next Sunday (2/21) will be an indoor lesson, and the last Sunday of the month (2/28) will be an outdoor lesson (weather permitting). I plan to send you all a monthly calendar at the beginning of each month (starting next month), with the schedule for each Sunday listed - indoor or outdoor, times for outdoor GNH as we may plan to meet at the Henderson Sledding Hill or somewhere different than FLC, etc. - We will continue this schedule/rotation until we feel comfortable doing so differently.

Feb 14th - In person at FLC Good News Hour will start at 10:30AM this Sunday (2/14). Just like we had you all do before, please fill out this Health Check-In prior to dropping off your child(ren) on Sunday. If you get here and forgot to do it, we will make sure someone is at the door helping fill out the information.

2019 – 2020 Good News Hour

Children 4 years to 5th grade experience God’s message through a relationship-building faith journey in both large and small group settings using Whirl Lectionary Curriculum.

Good News Hour runs from 9:15 – 10:15.  All children, age 4-years by September 1, 2019, through incoming 5th graders, are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Children will meet for a large-group time at the beginning of the hour.  Four-year-olds through 2nd grade will meet in the fellowship area across from the restrooms.  The older grades meet in the fellowship area adjacent to the kitchen.  Supervision of children before 9:15 is the responsibility of the parents, as teachers may be preparing their material before that time.  Please keep children out of the classroom area until class begins out of respect for the teachers.   Please also be considerate in picking your children up at 10:15 so the teachers may leave.  Please have your child(ren) use the restrooms before GNH, so classroom time interruptions can be kept to a minimum.

Please take some time to go over with your children the importance of the classroom rules in keeping Good News Hour a fun and productive time together.  Classroom rules:
Pay attention * Listen carefully * Raise your hand * Stay on task * Keep hands and objects to yourself * Clean up your area * Be kind and show respect
