Worship
Worship is central to the life of First Lutheran Church.
It is here that the people of God gather to receive Gods grace through
word and sacrament. Through worship we discover what Gods promise
of grace through Jesus Christ means for us corporately and individually.
Finally, from worship we are sent forth to proclaim that gracious word
by serving God and others locally and globally.
First Lutheran offers liturgical worship. In April 2007 we began using
the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnal in addition to With One
Voice (WOV). Other orders of worship and musical styles are occasionally
used.
