Good News Hour
Good News Hour (Sunday school) is held from 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. during the school year. Children from three years old through fifth grade are welcome. Good News Hour activities include story time, music, and crafts in addition to the lessons.

GNH Mission Project

Each year the GNH classes use their weekly offerings to support a mission chosen by the Christian Education and Youth Team.  This fall the offerings will go towards the Adopt-A-Family program providing Christmas gifts for area low-income families.

In 2008-2009, the offering was used to support the local food shelf.  Students had a goal of raising 500 dollars/pounds to earn a movie party at church.  Mission accomplished!

In 2007-2008, they purchased a cow for a family in need through Heifer International. Heifer’s goal is to end hunger and poverty by providing livestock, training and related services to small-scale farmers and communities worldwide. One cow can produce up to 4 gallons of milk a day and provide a family with needed income for education, health needs and better housing.
